We recently collaborated with visual artist and director Heinz Kahler on the BLX remix of Superhero. Heinz is based in Abu Dhabi where we met whilst performing a series of shows out there. Great character and looking forward to developing more ideas with this talented guy.
Yesterday we collaborated with award winning photographer Mike Whelan on a photo shoot for our upcoming album release. Mike had found some of the most amazing locations down in Barbican, an area of London we hadn’t checked out before. The architecture and urban landscape is truly unique. We then headed to a wicked studio in Hackney where we spent the afternoon shooting the mannequins which are a feature in our art campaign that is being directed by Kerry Roper.. Here’s some behind the scene shots from the day and as our campaign develops we’ll post the progress for you all to see.
We met Kerry at the Newman Arms, a small pub near Tottenham Crt in central london. Great character and after a few beers we convinced him to be our art director for our new album. Some of his pieces are simply amazing and it’s great to have Kerry on board, officially frequent!
Kman’s remix of “Closer” by Frequent People. As an old mate of the band it was very apt that he chose this track to work on and you can really feel his emotion behind this mix.
Hey guys, welcome to the official Frequent People blog for all the “unofficial” stuff. We’ll be getting busy here posting our progress daily and hope you enjoy. CheersĀ
